After a hair transplant, proper aftercare is crucial for successful hair growth. Regular application of Thymuskin Hydro Gel creates a moist environment, largely preventing scab formation on the scalp. The patented GKL-02 Thymic Peptide Complex contained in Thymuskin consists of animal-free thymus peptides.

The biological activity of thymus skin is primarily evident in the activation of hair cells (keratinocytes), which significantly influence hair growth. Hair formation is stimulated.

Furthermore, witch hazel and allantoin have antipruritic, antibacterial and antioxidant properties.

The foundation for good growth

Scab formation is part of the healing process. However, the transplanted grafts need to be able to absorb oxygen again a few days after the procedure. Applying a moist scalp treatment after the wound has closed reduces or even completely prevents the formation of scabs and scars. Furthermore, it is important to soothe the skin in this area and to wash both the donor and recipient areas with a mild, pH-balanced shampoo starting on day 3 after the transplant. This protects the scalp from drying out.

Suitable for sensitive skin

The product Thymuskin Hydro Gel passed the dermatological test on humans, conducted by the Dermatest research institute under specialist medical supervision, with a "very good" rating. In the test for irritant effects on sensitive skin, conducted according to international guidelines, no toxic-irritant intolerances occurred with this preparation.

Application

In consultation with the transplant surgeon, the application takes place after wound closure, starting on the 3rd day after the hair transplant.

Thymuskin Hydro Gel is applied to the affected areas and the rest of the scalp several times a day, as needed, or gently dabbed on with the fingertips.

In particular, the transplanted area (recipient area) should be kept moist using Thymuskin Hydro Gel to optimally prevent scab formation.

Combine Thymuskin Hydro Gel with Thymuskin Classic Shampoo starting on day 3 after your hair transplant. Genetically determined hair loss persists even after a hair transplant.

To ensure good results, we recommend the long-term use of Thymuskin Classic Shampoo and Serum afterwards.
